Happy trails...

Can you believe it? Another update in the same week? Well, I'm still trying to catch everyone up.

November saw the Yeh-Rippens clan on many happy trails. We've explored the area a little more--great spots within miles of here for Rilo to explore and roam. We spent Thanksgiving in South Pasadena. Though there were 35 guests--all related--at the Canares-hosted gorge-fest, we unfortunately don't have that many pictures (so if you have any good ones, please send).

Here we are exploring the tidepools at Shell Beach:

And hiking along the bluff at Montana del Oro:

Then we traveled down south for Thanksgiving. Here, Rilo's hanging with the ladies.

The after-Thanksgiving hike with Opa and Lola at Eaton Canyon in Pasadena.

And as always, some cute mug shots to close the blog entry (he just can't get away from the paparazzi).

At long last, an update on the second year

Finally, we are getting around to updating the blog with what's happened since Rilo's first birthday. The last few months have been quite eventful: mom completed her dissertation and Ph.D., the family packed up their life in LA and moved to San Luis Obispo, and we're also expecting a new addition to the family. Rilo's expecting a new baby brother in March! All this life-changing stuff has made our heads spin, and well, now you are finally getting the blog update with accompanying pictures.

THE LAST DAYS OF LA, AND RILO'S FIRST TIME FROLICKING ON THE BEACH.

Bye, LA!
