Left-leaning and smiling

Rilo is now 8 weeks old. A couple weeks ago, he started to smile while conscious. (He smiles all the time in his sleep--wonder what he's dreaming about!) He seems especially happy when he's on the changing table getting his diaper changed. He'll flash a huge grin, flirt, coo and chatter away. It really does make diaper-changing so much more fun!





It's been fascinating watching Rilo discover his left hand. He diligently practices trying to get it in his mouth or hold it before his eyes. The right hand is completely uninteresting to him at the moment. We might have bred another lefty!







In other adventures, Rilo's a-yis (aunts) and his cousin Tristan came to visit from Georgia, adding to the already long list of kinfolk who have gotten cuddly with him.
