Growing up...

Rilo turned 12 days old tonight. Here's what he's been up to since our last post:

Strolling around the block with the folks...

Shooting the breeze with Tita Lorna...

Chilling with Tula and Steve...

Wearing two pairs of socks at a time...

Dreaming in tandem with mommy...

Yucking it up with pops...

Delighting Lola (Grandma) Remy...

Proving he's got daddy's toes...

Strumming a ballad on his air ukelele...

Conferencing with a pair of Grandmas...

Lounging with A-ma...

Riding out a SoCal heatwave on mommy's lap...

Visiting with cousins Lindsey and Alina...

Meditating on the downy softness of a fresh new diaper...

Thanks for dropping by!

Rilo's Third Day

Due to popular demand... here are a few more photos of the little one.

After his first visit to the pediatrician, Rilo was surprised by an impromptu welcome home party attended by the Clavel and Canares clans. In this shot, he is in the arms of Great-Grandma Lourdes:

Another few shots of Rilo in blissful slumber. As you can see, he's really good at it:

Now for a variation on the same theme... In Mommy's arms, asleep:

Giving Uncle Mikey the once-over:

You know they're related because, as this shot irrefutably illustrates, they share identical hairstyles:

Introducing Theodore Rilo Rippens

Howdy, Folks! Thanks for stopping in.

We'd like to introduce you to our new baby son, Theodore Rilo Rippens. He was born on Monday evening at 6:43pm here in Los Angeles. Here are some pictures that tell the story of his first few days on the outside.

But first, a photo of him on the inside. This is Mommy Grace just a day or two before Rilo's arrival.

And here's the first picture of him ever, taken just moments after his birth:

Mommy and Daddy in awe:

Rilo meeting A-ma (Grandma Yeh):

Hanging out after his first sponge bath:

A quick nap after all the excitement:

A closer view:

Our first family portrait:

This one gives you a sense of his personality so far:

One neat little package, delivered safe and sound:

Later that night, taking a peak at the world:

Check out that cheekage (A-ma posed us like this to match an early portrait of her other grandson Tristan):

Mommy, Daddy, and Rilo the morning after:

Leaving the hospital and heading for home after Mommy and Baby were granted an early release by the doctors:

Rilo buckled in for the ride home:

Grand-Tita Sarah welcoming Rilo home:

Snug as a bug early on Rilo's second morning:

Now that's some quality shut-eye:

That's all for now (feel free to post comments). Check back a bit later if you like... we may post a few more in the coming days.
